Each Hebrew letter is assigned a Pythagorean value 1–9 in aleph-bet order (same cycle as English A–I, J–R, etc.). The output letter keeps that value but matches vowel/consonant type: Hebrew vowel letters (אהו״י and ע) map to a Latin vowel in the same value group (A, E, I, O, U) when one exists; otherwise the first letter in that group is used (e.g. value 7 → G). Other Hebrew letters map to a Latin consonant in that group.

Each Latin letter is reduced to its Pythagorean value 1–9. The Hebrew output keeps that value: Latin vowels (A, E, I, O, U) map to a Hebrew vowel letter in the same value cycle (אהו״י or ע); consonants—including Y—map to a Hebrew consonant in that cycle. When the value group has no matching type, the first letter in the 1–9 cycle is used (same as א–ט mapping).
